STOP.MOTION
Silver gelatin prints, 2019.
The photographs were taken using a homebuilt pinhole camera. This photographic apparatus allowed for the direct exposure of each image onto light-sensitive photographic paper. Shot one by one, the images showcase the deliberate use of long exposures, contributing to their aesthetic. The diffractive light properties add an extra layer of complexity to the visual narrative. The craftsmanship of both the camera and the photographic process results in a series of images that not only capture the moments themselves, but also reflect the intentional artistry behind each photograph.
