Low-Res Dreams

2025. Video

Low-Res Dreams is a collaborative video experiment by Nadja Brečević and Henrik Wejfeldt, recorded on miniDV cassette tape. The camera is aimed at a computer screen, and through digital delays, whatever or whoever passes through the frame is allowed to leave a trace — like ghosted pixels in a low-resolution dream state. Using various objects from their apartment, they created an improvised scenography where “everyday” (lol) items are transformed into visual disruptions, rhythms, and movements. The video explores how the image can be manipulated and stretched through analog and digital layers.
